“RED: Ready, Experienced, Dedicated – Your Peterborough Fire Services.”
A new, permanent exhibit at Clonsilla Fire Station #3 will have residents going RED when it opens on Saturday, April 13. Over the past seven months, Peterborough Fire Services have been working alongside Museum Management and Curatorship students at Fleming College to develop the exhibit.
The exhibit will focuses on the history of Peterborough Fire Services (PFS), as well as providing information on the wide range of programs and services provided by PFS. Artifacts, archival photographs and recorded interviews will show the diverse and constant presence of the fire service in the local community. The exhibit will appeal to both adults and children. Visitors can expect a fun atmosphere with interactive elements, which bring the rich history of Peterborough Fire Services to life.
